While the course itself suffered virtually no damage, one of the club’s 150-year-old magnolia trees was uprooted.Payne said he was unsure of whether or not the tree — located along Augusta National’s famous Magnolia Lane entrance — would be replaced.“We don’t know yet,” Payne said, noting that “150-year-old magnolias are in short supply for transplanting. We were all very much saddened by that and we will make the best out of a difficult situation. We will deal with it somehow, but we just haven’t decided how to do it yet.”
